The Duke of Wellington had gestured toward Eton, remarking on the playing fields of all colleges for the manly sport of cricket gave "the manly character induced by games and sport." Guy hardly expects Stark to know all that, and doesn't particularly care. The quote's effect is hardly diminished by a correction that is unlikely to happen. Studying history at Cambridge has its advantages.]
