It's a rather long process and I'm not exactly one for sitting still for hours. Fascinating as it was, I drove him utterly mad as I walked around, smoking cigarettes and getting into his scotch. I appreciate art and I understand art is not to be rushed. No good thing is, but apparently I was making it quite impossible for my dear friend to work.

I became the first to see his finished pieces soon after. I remember most of them quite well. He was always quite mad on Poussin, and it showed a bit when he painted.
